Itinerary

Day 1 — Ulaanbaatar → Zorgol Khairkhan

Distance: Approx. 220–250 km  /  Overnight: Ger camp

  • Motorcycle orientation and safety briefing
  • Leave Ulaanbaatar and enter the open steppe
  • Zorgol Khairkhan landscapes
  • First dirt-road riding
  • Remote valleys and mountain scenery
  • Sunset over the steppe

Day 2 — Zorgol Khairkhan → Orkhon Valley

Distance: Approx. 220–250 km  /  Overnight: Ger camp

  • Long scenic off-road ride
  • Dirt and gravel tracks
  • Open steppe and mountain landscapes
  • Rivers and valleys
  • Nomadic settlements
  • Arrive in the Orkhon Valley

Day 3 — Explore Orkhon Valley

Distance: Approx. 50–80 km  /  Overnight: Ger camp

  • Ulaan Tsutgalan / Orkhon Waterfall
  • Off-road exploration

  • Traditional Mongolian food and dairy
  • Horse-riding option
  • A more relaxed riding day

Day 4 — Orkhon Valley → Tövkhön → Tsenkher

Distance: Approx. 180–220 km  /  Overnight: Ger camp

  • Evening relaxation at the hot springs

Day 5 — Tsenkher → Kharkhorin → Elsen Tasarkhai

Distance: Approx. 220–250 km  /  Overnight: Ger camp

  • Kharkhorin, ancient Mongol capital
  • Erdene Zuu Monastery
  • Dirt and gravel roads

Day 6 — Elsen Tasarkhai → Khustai Region

Distance: Approx. 200–230 km  /  Overnight: Ger camp

  • Morning riding around the dunes

  • Ride toward Khustai
  • Opportunity to see Przewalski's horses
  • Khustai is a stop on the return route, not a dedicated full day

Day 7 — Khustai → Ulaanbaatar

Distance: Approx. 100–120 km  /  Overnight: Tour ends in Ulaanbaatar

  • Final morning ride
  • Open steppe
  • Final dirt-road sections
  • Return to Ulaanbaatar
  • Farewell meal
